Painting #6

This is Painting #6, Aug. 2009, Actual size is 11-1/2" x 12". Painted on hard board with acrylic/latex. The paint wrap the corners of the painting.

The Beginning

This is where it all started with me painting. In or around 2003 I was out of work, the living room needed painting. I started between two doors by the floor, a few days later the next section above that, and a few days after that it was up to the ceiling. Then it went both ways above the doors, then about 3 months later the whole wall looked like this. No more art work until Feb. 2009. And thats the Beginning of my painting. Left to Right is how the wall looks.

New Boards

I finally got all of my new boards compleated and ready for paint. Yesterday I started painting my #6 piece of work. Most of my paintings have been 24" x 24" or bigger. My friends have said that I should try one smaller so I have started on a 12" x 12", we will see how it turns out. I want to take the time to thank all my friends at DTS television for helping set up this blog. Making new boards to paint on

Spent last week & part of this week making up new boards. Coming up this week, I will have 2- 24" x 48" x 1-1/2", 3 - 24" x 24" x 1-1/2", 1 - 24" x 12" x 1-1/2", & 2 - 12" x 12" x1-1/2" to start painting on this week. I will have a few pics of the building process posted this week.

Painting #1 better picture

This is my first painting to be posted online. It is 24" x 48" x 1-1/2", Acrylic/Latex, It is painted on the textured side of hard board. I sign my paintings on the front with an art signature. I do not want to sign the front with my name, because I don't want to tell anybody which way to hang my paints. Someone may want to hang them horizontal or vertical, it is your choice. On the back I number, date, sign with art signature, and sign with my name. On all of my paintings the paint wraps around the corners to the sides. It is a one of a kind original painting.
